On Thursday evening, before the Refinery29 launch party festivities, we also had the pleasure of attending Michael Angel Resort and Spring 2012 collection preview at Hu’s Wear in Georgetown with our favorite blogger power couple, Carla and Marshall of TPWP (yes, we have a little bit of a style and intellectual crush on them, but how can you not?) We had a great time getting to know the designer, and checking out the collection – his digital silk-screened prints and designs are very colorful, unique, and feminine, just the way we like it. Carlis was a huge fan of the bright colors and prints, and I was absolutely blown away by the simple and chic silhouettes. It was also a pleasure to have some one-on-one time with the designer and getting to know his interesting and diverse background, as well as his inspiration for the collection. Let’s just say we won’t be surprised if we spot our First Lady rocking one of these incredible designs very soon!
