Calm Before the Storm

Happy Labor Day lovelies. Hope you had a fabulous, extra long weekend enjoying the “unofficial” end of the summer!!!

As for us, Carlis and I had a very quiet weekend. One, because I came down with a cold and pretty much spent the entire weekend on my couch (I think at one point we became one lol), and two, we truly needed a laid back weekend to get ourselves ready for this upcoming week and weekend. As NYFW gets closer, we get more and more excited to attend all of the events and meet other blogger friends in the City. On another note, on Friday our lovely city will host its first Fashion Night Out in Georgetown. This is a huge accomplishment and we decided to stay in town to support this monumental day in our fashion history (ok it’s not THAT serious lol, but DC is usually not on the top of fashion cities list, so we think it’s a pretty big deal for DC fashionistas). Saturday morning we’re off to NYC! I’m sure this week is going to fly by. Let the shopping madness begin 🙂
