Other than brunching in the city, I also love to find new places that serves up yummy cocktails! I heard about Columbia Room via the beautiful Instagram photos on my friends’ feeds. I had to stop by and check this place out myself and let me tell you, I was not disappointed.
What: Columbia Room
Location: 124 Blagden Alley NW (Hidden Gem!)
Style: Beautiful cocktail bar with outdoor and indoor space.
Atmosphere: Columbia room offers three different kinds of atmospheres. Their Tasting Room is an intimate space where you are going to want to stay all night! The Spirits Library section is not as dark as the tasting room but is super sophisticated – this is where you should order all the dirty martinis in the world. If the weather is not too hot, definitely hangout at their Punch Garden and order something from their new Latin American summer cocktail menu, available until Sept.
What We Loved: What is there not to love is the question! It’s rare when we love everything about a place but Columbia room, we LOVE you so much!
SCDC Tip: Try to avoid the big crowd by visiting Columbia Room during the weekday. Columbia room is open from Tue – Thur 5pm to 12:30am and Fri – Sat 5pm to 1:30am. They also serve light snacks and cheese plates.
