Every season I like to update my look and I’ve been itching for a drastic change. I’m so excited to introduce you to the lady who gave me one of my fave mini hair makeovers, Valerie! Valerie is a DC based hair stylist and I’m excited to announce that together we will be bringing you lots of fun content that will involve hair care and hair trends. When having my consultation with Valerie, I brought a few photos for inspiration and for her to have an exact idea of what I was going for. My main inspiration was Alexa Chung, I don’t look anything like her but I really love her style and one thing that always stands out is her signature effortless haircut. I was scared with the idea of cutting bangs since they are not easy to maintain, especially if you have wavy hair like I do. But since we wont have humid weather for the next 6 months, I went for it! I also chose to go a bit darker but kept my mid hair length. I love my new look and have gotten lots of compliments on it, which assures me that I made the right choice by cutting my bangs (Thank you, Val!).
