The Flower Luxe‘s flower arrangement has chic and sophisticated written all over. The online flower boutique offers gorgeous bouquets of roses neatly arranged in a unique way. Each box is named after neighborhoods in Paris to reflect its elegant aesthetics. Founder Jamm spoke to us about The Flower Luxe and the inspiration behind the flower arrangements perfect for any occasion.

2. What inspired the name of your business?
Naming my business was one of the most difficult part. I am very indecisive when it comes to permanent stuff. I wanted to be something simple, easy to remember and screams sophistication. Flower because it is a rose box and Luxe because I want to create a luxurious experience for my clients.
3. How did you get into your line of work?
I recently quit a corporate job of 10 years after my son was born to focus on something that requires me to use my creative chic style. My husband took me to Paris for the first time and I fell in love with the way Europeans present their flowers which is in a super elegant box instead of a bouquet. I started making few boxes for friends and family and I was hooked and decided to do it full time.
I love the diversity. The people that you will meet around here are mostly very intellectual and high spirited and I love that. I like being expose to new things and learn from the people around me. Everything here is with in your reach food, activities, events, name it.
5. Share with us and our readers an insider’s tip into your favorite spots or activities in the city.
The best part if living in DC area is FOOD! I have a sweet tooth so I am always in a hunt for a cool dessert places around the area. Recently my favorite New York City soft serve ice cream at Momofuku took over DC. I am also a huge fan of Korean BBQ and bubble teas. Yechon Korean BBQ and Kung Fu Tea are my absolute favorite spots located in Annandale which is only a short drive from DC.
