Pre-NYFW with Glam

Ok so I will be honest, I packed about five pair of shoes for NYFW but most of the time (well ok 95% of the time) I wore my new favorite pair of BCBG booties I got at 60% off literally the day before we left (yes I did say 60%!). I have been looking for a perfect pair of booties all winter, but I’m soooo glad I waited because these are seriously the best. Not only do I love the leather/suede combo and that spectacular, metallic heel, but despite them being about 4+ inches, I was able to wear them morning til night, and then at after parties too, and my feet held out. It really is a miracle, and I thank BCBG for perfectly engineering this amazing fashion week accessory. Oh and don’t even get me started on both the BCBG and Herve Leger Fall 13 collections… seriously obsessed! But more on that later in the week.  I also can’t get enough of this super chic and comfi Wild Fox sweater. Aren’t the rips and print so cool? I guess that’s what you can expect of Wild Fox. They rock!

When putting my outfits together for NYFW I knew they had to be warm so I basically did a lot of layering the entire time. I also knew that we were going to do a lot of walking so I packed my favorite wedge boots which can be worn with a casual or dressy outfit.

We couldn’t think of a better way to start our five day trip to NYC for NYFW this past Wed than with an afternoon of rest and relaxation in prep for the madness that followed the next four days — snow blizzard and all! Our amazing friends at Glam had this absolutely brilliant idea of pampering all of us with DryBar blowouts, perfect 10/10 manicures, and of course yummy food, champagne, and goodie bags that included some awesome fashion week accessories and necessities. The best part of it all was spending that much needed girly time with some of our lovely blogger BFFs Natalie and Sara. Thank you Glam ladies. You seriously are the best!
