Annapolis

Annapolis

A few weeks ago Visit Annapolis and Jessica, founder of #DCTravelBloggers, arranged a full day of fun activities for us to do in the beautiful city of Annapolis. We began the day with a historic trolley tour of the city which was very scenic, all while learning a bit more about the history of the city. The next stop that I really loved and enjoyed was Great Frogs Winery. This winery is seriously straight out of pinterest! It’s not big but the decor and atmosphere is precious. We did a little wine tasting and also tried their cheese platter which I highly recommend. After the winery we had time to ourselves to explore the rest of the city. much more to see!

Any time I visit Annapolis, Pusser’s is a must stop! We headed there for some drinks and enjoyed the view of the sail boats and the water. We totally forgot to visit Annapolis ice cream company, which I hear is a must – next time for sure! The next part of our trip was a ride with harbor cruise. This experience was truly relaxing . Before the cruise starts, make sure to stop by their lower deck and get yourself a drink at their bar than head back to the upper part of the deck, sit back and enjoy the ride. We culminated the visit with a wonderful dinner at Carrol’s Creek. The staff there was super friendly. Whatever you do, you must try their sea scallops, so good! I plan to go back and visit Annapolis during the fall and hopefully do a little staycation there. There is so much more to see!
