Spicy Martini

On Thursday we decided to pay a visit to the Donovan House Hotel in DC because Carlis’ B-day is right around the corner and we wanted to check out the food and the atmosphere as part of the “planning process”. It was such a pleasant surprise because we ended up meeting some of the sweetest people in the Hospitality industry. Valerie “the bartender” was so attentive and sweet. She suggested one of the most interesting martini’s we’ve ever had, the “Thai Spicy Martini” – it was a perfect combination of spicy and delicious…and I’m sure you picked up on the name 🙂 The sushi was equalily delish…and the amosphere is classy and elegant. Just when we thought the evening wasn’t going to get any better, the general manager Chris took us up to the roof for a private tour of the rooftop pool and lounge. Let’s just say we’ll definitely host Carlis’ party there in June. The views are stunning! Well we’re off to have lunch and visit one of the most amazing museums in DC..the Hishhorn (art + sunny day + SC girls = a perfect day for an outfit post) 🙂 Stay tunned!
