I think at this point most of you guys know how serious I take my brunch! I’ve been wanting to try Takoda’s brunch for a while and I must say, it did not disappoint. As I’m writing this blog post, I’m also planning my next visit because this might be my new favorite brunch spot!
Style: American restaurant and year-round rooftop beer garden from hospitality entrepreneurs Ryan Seelbach and Eric Lund.
Atmosphere: Other than good food, I also always fall for a place that has great atmosphere. Takoda restaurant is super chill! It has two levels, one being a rooftop with a great view. I love dining al fresco, so I chose to sit on the rooftop and enjoyed the weather while we sipped mimosas.
What we loved: Our favorite dish was definitely the Mac N Cheese! Besides their half priced mimosas, you also have the option to try one of their 24 american draft beers.
SCDC Tip: We recommend visiting Takoda with a group of friends so that everyone can order one thing off of the menu and share! Sharing is caring and you’ll have the chance to sample a little bit of everything from the awesome brunch menu.
