What: Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors
Where: Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC 20024) Closest metro L’Enfant Plaza Station
What We Loved: The feeling you get entering each of the rooms filled with amazing art work from artist Yayoi Kusama is simply incredible! I have never experienced anything like this and probably never will. Big thank you to the Hirshorn Museum for the magical evening. The exhibit, “Infinity Mirrors,” opens at the museum tomorrow! You can get tix by visiting Hirshhorn’s site, HERE! The exhibit will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until May 14th.
SCDC Tip: Free passes to the exhibit will be available every Monday at noon. A limited number of same-day passes will also be available at Hirshhorn Museum on a first-come, first-serve basis. I recommend wearing solid colors for good photos, I wore all black but I can see how wearing all white would look cool too! You get 30 seconds in each room, so make the best of it, take it all in and get that killer shot! Need a little photo inspo? check out the #InfiniteKusama hashtag.
